Case Study 3
Updated: Aug 31
Patient: Female, 28 years old
Case: Relapse of constant lower back pain
Physiotherapy session: Manual Therapy and Clinical Pilates

The relapse caused a radiating pain down the patient’s left leg mere months after surgery, rendering her fearful, depressed, and concerned that she could not lead a normal life. She had started the consultation in tears, but after several physiotherapy sessions which included manual therapy and clinical Pilates, coupled with our therapist’s constant reassurance and encouragement, the patient regained her confidence and recovered from the debilitating pain. She has successfully resumed her daily activities and has even gone hiking and sky diving.
